Promoting Excellence In Psychological Health & Wellbeing

The Psychological Professions Network in Kent, Surrey and Sussex (PPN KSS) is commissioned by Health Education England working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex (HEE KSS), to provide a joined-up voice for all psychological professionals in workforce planning and development, and to support excellence in practice.

The Psychological Professions Network aims to serve the needs of NHS policy and practice, alongside the needs of its members and the wider public. However, it does not speak ‘on behalf of’ Health Education England or any other NHS body. It is accountable to the Mental Health Programme Board at HEE KSS for fulfilling the functions it has been commissioned to deliver.

The PPN KSS also has a Steering Group of interested psychological professionals and key stakeholders, including experts by experience. In time this is likely to become constituted more formally as a decision-making ‘Board’ which oversees the work of PPN KSS, and reports to the Mental Health Programme Board, and ultimately upwards to the Integrated Programme Board at HEE KSS.
