The Psychological Professions Network South East (PPN SE) have two leadership fellowship opportunities to undertake project work over the next 6 months. Funding is available to back-fill organisations in order to release their staff for these opportunities and interested persons should initially check with their line-managers that they are able to be released from their existing work. Service leads will be asked to confirm that they are able to commit to PPN SE that they will release their staff for the agreed period of the projects. PPN SE will pay those organisations to release their staff accordingly. It is anticipated that the successful candidates will be able to start in January 2024.
Crisis Leadership Fellowship
For this role we are looking to identify a clinician with a psychological professions background with specialist experience in services for people who experience serious mental health problems and/or mental health inpatient and crisis services. The aim of the fellowship is to support workforce development, retention, education, and training across the region for mental health crisis services and as a PPN initiative we expect the candidate to focus in particular on enhancing the psychological component of mental health inpatient and crisis care.

Wellbeing Practitioner Leadership Fellowship
For this role we are looking to identify a clinician with extensive experience in one of the wellbeing practitioner / psychological practitioner roles (Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP), Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) or Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)) to support workforce development, retention, education, and training across the South East region.

The candidate will establish a community of practice (CoP), building on the previously established PPN SE ‘PWP subnetwork’ and work with the PPN core team to ensure appointment of ongoing leads for this CoP and a sustainable ongoing structure. The current outgoing chairs of the PWP subnetwork will be able to offer advice and support to this process.

Successful candidates will bring to the roles a readiness to network and be a public face of the psychological professions as a unified and integrated professional grouping and, with support from the PPN Co-chairs, Programme Manager and Assistant Psychologist will provide effective liaison, project management and stakeholder engagement working with Integrated Care Board partners and existing networks to describe the workforce and educational needs system-wide for the psychological professionals working within their project areas.
