PPN Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Position Statement

13 Nov 23

The publication was launched on Monday 13th November 2023 during Psychological Professions Week 2023

Next steps for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Psychological Professions event launch not only our annual conference, Psychological Professions Week 2023, but also the release of our new national Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) position statement.

The position statement was created by our EDI Working Group, which includes PPN assistant psychologists, graduate research assistants, programme managers, and chairs from across the regions, and is led by the PPN South West.

It represents our values, stance and commitment to progressing and meaningfully implementing Equity and Inclusion for the communities we serve, and will inform work across all PPN regions. After extensive consultation across the PPNs and other stakeholders, including the national Lived Experience Advisory Panel, it has now been published and you can read it here.
