Promoting Excellence In Psychological Health & Wellbeing

The Health Psychology Subnetwork officially made their debut on 4th December 2019, hosted by Chloe Stewart. A number of Health Psychologists (HPs) attended this meeting and were keen to establish a network in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. There were a broad range of ideas about what people would like to get out of the subnetwork including: ensuring HPs have a voice within the KSS Psychological Professions Network; creating better links between research and practice; establishing better access to clinical / NHS placements and increased access to applied roles. The group agreed that meetings would happen quarterly and we would support virtual access given the wide geography. The next meeting was due to take place in April 2020 and has been delayed due to COVID-19.
